Kenia's daughter was born with special needs but she could not understand the doctors and teachers. She knew she needed to learn English to coordinate critical services for her daughter. Working tirelessly with her tutor, Kenia improved her English literacy and now is actively involved in her daughter's Individualized Education Program. They now read together and Kenia is engaged in school activities. She has become a homeowner and was named Student of the Year.
