Literacy Volunteers of New Jersey Inc

Literacy Volunteers of New Jersey is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Since 1979, we have helped to establish and assist adult literacy programs throughout NJ.  These affiliate programs are engaged in training volunteers to provide free tutoring to adults who need help learning to read and write or communicate in English.  The goal of our organization is to ensure that free, high quality literacy instruction is available to low literate adults in every NJ community.  LVNJ provides essential tools and training that volunteers and adult literacy program staff need to carry out their work.
