One in seven adults - more than 120,000 - in the Memphis area cannot read this paragraph. Additionally, only 11% of Shelby County students are considered college and career ready. Since 1974, Literacy Mid-South has been working to change these statistics through high-quality literacy instruction, resourcing educational organizations, and creating shared community experiences to promote lifelong learning. We need your support to continue this important, life-changing work.
