Meet Josephine, a senior high school athlete with aspirations to become a FBI agent. Her involvement as an officer of our Youth Council provided year round youth leadership development, academic supports and college-to-career readiness. Maintaining above 3.0 GPA, Josephine is presently having Malik, her advisor, review  her admissions essay to the colleges of her dreams. She see education as the key to success. 

For close to 70 years, Littig House Community Center worked in partnership with families of youth, like Josephine, to enhance the quality of life of Port Washington through a holistic approach of supports and services to ensure all youth and adults reach their full potential. Our expected outcomes include improving academic and social competence for our children, as well as improved efficacy and independence of families of all youth.
