Across Utah, thousands of families with young children struggle silently with diaper need, a crisis that forces parents to choose between buying diapers, paying rent, or keeping food on the table. Little Lambs Foundation for Kids exists to ensure no parent faces that choice alone.

Based in Logan, Utah, Little Lambs operates Utah’s only direct-service diaper bank, serving children from birth to age three. We provide diapers, wipes, hygiene items, and emergency supplies to families experiencing hardship, while also offering comfort and stability to children entering foster care.

Why This Work Matters

Diapers are expensive, and no government assistance program covers them. Without an adequate supply of diapers:

• Parents cannot take children to daycare

• Many lose work shifts or jobs

• Babies face increased risk of rashes, infections, and ER visits

• Families experience increased stress, isolation, and financial strain

• Provided 2.3 million items to families in crisis

• Reached families statewide through 90+ partner agencies

• Distributed 6.8 million diapers since founding, helping children stay clean, dry, and healthy

Provides diapers, wipes, hygiene items, and baby essentials directly to families who need them most.

Comfort Kit Program

Backpacks filled with blankets, hygiene supplies, books, stuffed animals, and comfort items for children entering foster care.

Essential supplies, monthly baby showers, education, and support that help young parents stay in school.

A safe, supportive environment where expecting parents receive education, resources, and the essentials needed for a healthy start.

Building for Utah’s Future

Demand for diapers and emergency supplies has grown dramatically. To meet this need, Little Lambs is building a new Diaper Bank & Community Resource Center in Logan. This purpose-built facility will:

• Double our diaper storage and distribution capacity

• Create space for education, teen parent programming, and community classes

• Improve volunteer engagement and efficiency

• Strengthen our ability to respond to statewide need
