Little Lambs Foundation for Kids Inc

Little Lambs Foundation for Kids Inc. is a non profit 501(c)3 organization that provides comfort kits to children who are transitioning into foster care, emergancy shelter's and other traumatic situations. In Utah on average there are 2700 children in foster care. Each comfort kit includes a new blanket, book, plush animal, coloring book/crayons, toothbrush/paste, socks, hairbrush, flashlight, ect. For the children ages 12-17 we also include a full hygiene kit. These are all bare necessities for us, but for a child that has been taken away from everyone and everything they have ever loved and known, these simple comfort items could mean the world to them in the single most devastating moment in their entire life. Our goal is to make sure every child throughout Northern Utah is provided with a comfort kit that they can take to their foster home. Something they can call their "own". This not only shows them love from from our community but gives them dignity as well. Little Lambs also provides busy kits to our local hospitals and comfort kits to the children living in homeless shelters. womens and children shelters and any other child in need of a bit of comfort. Last year alone we were able to provide 1001 full comfort kits, many busy kits, diaper kits and hygiene kits to children who need them most. 2973 children were served by Little Lambs Foundation for Kids in 2016. Every donation collected will go to providing these much needed items for children in need.
