Our Story

Since 2008, we have been on a mission to introduce the game of golf to children younger then what is historically traditional. Our program and company focuses on teaching and introducing golf to children ages 3-8 years of age. We take our program to daycares, YMCA's, City Parks, Elementary Schools and Golf Courses. The program started as just that, a program. We incorporated the program into a business in 2010 and trademarked the name Little Linksters. In 2010 we spent a rather substantial amount of money on character development and in the creation of our Little Linksters Golf FUNdamentals Coloring Book and program guide. In November we formed our new 501c3 in order to meet our goal of launching our program out on a national scale in late 2012.

The Impact

The Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development will be the vehicle that will launch the acclaimed Little Linksters Golf Program to areas nationwide in 2012. PGA Professional Brendon Elliott is the founder of Little Linksters and the developer of the Little Linksters program designed for kids 3-8 years of age. Elliott, a 2010 & 2011 US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teacher and the 2011 & 2012 NFPGA Junior Golf Leader award winner developed the program in 2008 in the greater Orlando area. From the beginning, Elliott had a desire to have PGA & LPGA Professionals nationwide share in his vision by introducing kids 3-8 to golf in a streamlined, uniform and most importantly, FUN format.

Kids start golf far too late in life. Traditionally, kids are introduced to golf at age 9 or 10 and by then they have been exposed to so many other sports and activities. With all that the game of golf offers, the values and life lessons it teaches along with giving young children a sense of self discovery, accomplishment and individuality, we need to get kids into the game sooner much, much sooner. Thats what Little Linksters does.

What We Need...

We need funding for many aspects of making our mission happen. Funds raised will be used for the following items: a national marketing campaign, equipment and materials for PGA & LPGA Instructors who will teach our program nationwide, finalizing our Little Linksters Instructor Certification Program, administrative costs and funding a scholarship program for kids that cannot afford program costs. These are just examples of some of the items we need to launch our program nationwide.
