Little Playhouse on the Prairie

Little Playhouse on the Prairie is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre organization dedicated to bringing the magic of theatre to rural Texoma. Our mission is to foster creativity and cultural engagement among residents by providing high-quality theatrical productions.

Based in Vernon, TX, we are passionate about contributing to the local cultural scene. Each summer, we produce a captivating full-length play, featuring an all-volunteer cast and crew from our community. Additionally, our weekly improv troupe rehearsals and quarterly performances offer spontaneous, side-splitting entertainment!

As a newly established non-profit, we have big dreams of opening a permanent theatre location in Vernon's Main Street district. This space will enable us to expand our programming and provide a hub for the arts in our small town. Every donation brings us one step closer to this goal, allowing us to continue enriching our community through the transformative power of theatre.
