OUR GOAL: $35,000

Please help us add a low-impact, high-velocity HVAC system in the Community House!

Thanks to the generosity of last year's donors, we have begun work to restore the historic Carriage Barn.  Thank you!

If you've ever attended an event at the Community House and wished the room temperature was more comfortable, we have great news!  We have plans to install a new HVAC system!

The Eastman House was built in 1884 and was dedicated to serve as Littleton’s Community Center in 1919. The LCC continues as a meeting place for local government and civic groups, and for community members to use for education, collaboration and celebration!

As we continue to renovate and maintain the building, it is necessary to improve the HVAC system to reduce heating costs, prevent deterioration and ensure the comfort of everyone using the building.

It is a Queen Anne-style building and is on the National and New Hampshire Register of Historic Places, so we must maintain the historical aspects of the building. To preserve the historical features of the building, we have chosen a low visibility, high velocity HVAC system that will provide heating and cooling.

This addition to our oil furnace is urgently needed to help preserve this beautiful historic house and provide a comfortable environment for renters and visitors.

Three major impacts of the new system:

1. Guest comfort →  increased use and appreciation of the space.

2. Consistent temperature and humidity levels =  maintaining the building in good shape.

3. Fuel-efficient heating and cooling system →  fuel costs decrease → more funds for programming and maintenance.
