Live 2 Give Hope is a registered 501(c)3 with a mission to provide hope now, for the future and for eternity. Live 2 Give Hope was established by Lebanon natives to help community members who fall through the cracks of existing assistance programs, both government & private non-profit organizations in Missouri, with focus on the 26th Circuit which includes Laclede, Camden, Miller, Morgan & Moniteau Counties. However, Live 2 Give Hope does not deny services to anyone in need and has served clients from 18 counties in central and southern Missouri. Since 2017, Live 2 Give Hope has assisted over 400 local foster children through its programs completely free of charge through the following programs:
- Fostering Hope Closet provides free resources to foster families including clothing, car seats, diapers, wipes, beds, hygiene items and other items as available.
- Kids’ Night Out is a free monthly respite event for foster families which rotates between in-person, take-home and family fun style events.
- Paving the Way provides education, resources, and life skills for older foster youth ages 15+ that includes home management, financial fundamentals, and driver's education.
- PUSH Lebanon (People United Sharing Hope) links members of the community to various opportunities to serve the community sharing their time, talents, and treasures.
- Safe MO Kids is an educational program for adults on the prevention of childhood sexual abuse.
- Lebanon Reunited assists families in navigating through the child welfare system, in an effort to place children in relative homes and assist biological families work toward reunification.
Currently all Live 2 Give Hope programs are run exclusively by unpaid board members and volunteers through donations from individuals and corporations as well as grant awards. In 2020 Live 2 Give Hope volunteers donated 2485 hours to run the programs listed above.
