LiveSafe Resources provides safety and healing for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as their children. We assist sexual assault victims with advocacy support and forensic exams conducted in our safe, private facility vs. sending them to hospital emergency rooms.  We also offer a myriad of services to assist abuse and assault victims, including emergency food and shelter, transitional housing, counseling, legal advocacy, 24/7 crisis line, and a multicultural outreach program. We are focused on helping our clients "live safe."

Lucy (name changed for privacy) is a 60 year old woman who was physically and emotionally abused by her husband for 15 years. One day she decided enough was enough.

She called LiveSafe Resources asking for help saying she was done and wouldn’t put up with him anymore. She escaped and lived at the shelter until she figured out her next steps, on her own for the first time in years. She found a job working as a nanny and because of donors like you, the cost of her commute to a nearby town was covered.

Lucy fell in love with the kids; she always wanted kids of her own, but her husband would not allow it. Soon, the family offered for Lucy to move in with them as their full time nanny.

Lucy’s strength got her out of that abusive relationship, and with the help of supporters like you, she got a job and became independent and truly happy.
