The Newly Elected Officials Course is a one-of-a kind course, unique in Pennsylvania for its scope and content. NEOC provides a comprehensive overview of the duties of municipal officials. The course is held following every local election and has been distinguished as a recipient of the League of Women Voters Good Government Award. Course content includes information on Powers and Duties of Local Officials, Municipal Finance, Public Safety, Ethics, Human Resources, Intergovernmental Cooperation, Planning and Public Works.
