Local Whiskers

Local Whiskers Inc. was established in 2019 to foster the stray and unwanted cats of York and Adams counties. After vetting, altering, and vaccinating, we find loving forever homes for all cats in our care. We are a no-kill, foster-based rescue that receives no municipal funds and pays no salaries. Every dollar donated goes directly to supporting the animals in our care. Our volunteers also participate in Trap, Neutering, and Returning (TNR) feral cats to humanely control the outdoor cat population. Local Whiskers has placed hundreds of cats into homes throughout PA, MD, and VA, and prevented thousands of kittens from being born into an outdoor world of pain and suffering.
