Mission

The mission of the Lompoc Theatre Project is to restore, reopen, and operate the historic Lompoc Theatre as a venue for arts, entertainment, education and culture for the community and its visitors.

Vision

Our Vision is a Lompoc Theatre that will:

--Act as a multi-use venue for artists, performers, and audiences in the community.

--Foster an environment that entertains, educates, and inspires.

--Encourage the development of, and collaboration between, community arts, educational, civic, and cultural organizations.

--Enhance Lompoc’s historic core as a cultural center, generating economic benefits for the community.

--Serve persons of all ages, cultures, and economic backgrounds to explore their creative and artistic possibilities.

--Preserve our community heritage and honor our history.

About the Theatre:

Built in 1927, the historic Lompoc Theater is legendary for its place in stage, music, and movie history. From vaudeville to ballet, from symphonies to rock concerts, from vintage Hollywood classics to cutting-edge independent film, the Lompoc Theater has hosted it all.
