Long Beach Area Veterans Collaborative

For Veterans, their families and those who serve them,  navigating through web sites and out of date information in order to find the best local resource can be a daunting task. Long Beach Area Veterans Collaborative was formed to create solutions to these problems by deploying a database for those who serve that is easy to use and up-to-date.

Case managers, nonprofits and those who serve veterans sacrifice actual service in order to do routine administrative duties.  They also need help for which they don't have to pay - hence the use of volunteers.  But they also don't have the time to recruit, save and manage hours.  Long Beach Area Veterans Collaborative has implemented volunteer management software to alleviate this burden on this overworked group.  Using a modern database that allows an applicant to apply, take online training and track their hours, enables our partners to utilize our tools, saving valuable time in assessing those who apply.

As a support organization to our collaborators, Long Beach Area Veterans Collaborative sends out valuable communications to our partners.  We also convene online meetings to facilitate the various organizations who have a common goal - help veterans get the benefits they deserve.
