Long Beach Youth Development Center

Mission

History: The Long Beach Youth Development Center is focusing it's attention on beginning operation in the year 2010. Therefore, we are looking forward in working toward a history of great prosperity. Purpose: First to provide a Educational, Recreational and Social Outlet for youth between the ages of 5 and 20 years of age in a youth development center. Although the program will be open to all families requiring Day Center Services, Low-Income, Delinquent, Parolees, Runaways and Homeless Youths will receive top priority for admission. If there is space available, the services will be opened to other youths requiring Day Center Services. Psychological, Vocational, Educational training referrals, Resume and Interviewing Techniques with Career Guidance. Secondly, to provide a Homeless Shelter for those in need due to financial hardships or due to unforeseen acts of nature.

Programs

The Long Beach Youth Development Center has not established any major operating programs at this point due to the educational and financial goals of the company. Although this doesn't reflect great merit on the part of this company, the company has taken time to work with selected youth of all ages and various backgrounds in helping to create activities (such as: Arts and Crafts, Sports, Fishing and a Homework help center.)to assist the youth in finding productive ways of utilizing their time and expounding on their creativeness. This has been funded by the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and staff. Right now, the organization has no beneficiaries.
