Longfellow Elementary School PTO

Thank you for participating in the 2020 Longfellow Walkathon fundraiser.  Last year we raised over $3500 thanks to the generosity of our families, neighbors and friends.  Help us do it again!

The world’s (more than) a little crazy, and our Thanksgiving holidays might look different this year … But if your family is doing something active, how about doing it for Longfellow?! 

Usually, the Longfellow Walkathon is in September at school, but this year…

🍗  It’s happening all of Thanksgiving week (11/22 – 11/29)

🌅  It’s anywhere and everywhere!

🚲  Any distance and any modality (walk, jog, hike, bike…)

🎊  And as always, there are silly bandz and a raffle!

Wear your Silly Bandz bracelets to celebrate!  And you can win gifts or gift cards from StoriedME, Kid’s Movement Project, Rwanda Bean, Longfellow Books, Handiwork, Quality Shop, The Honey Exchange….

There are three ways to earn a RAFFLE TICKET (do all three to increase your chances!)

1. Let us know that you have walked (or ran/hiked/etc) for Longfellow by emailing your kids’ name(s) to rebecca.wertheimer@gmail.com
2. Post on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #LongfellowWalkathon or tag @longfellowauction (FB) or @longfellowpto (IG) – pictures are great!

Raffle prizes announced week of Monday 11/30

Where does my donation go?  Our PTO provides funds for supplemental activities and materials:

●        Outdoor learning support

●        Technology support

●        Classroom supplies 

●        iPads to supplement the 5th grade math curriculum

●        Physical Education equipment

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help the PTO continue to fund the programs and supplies that are necessary to ensure the high quality educational experience that Longfellow provides.
