It's not easy when your parents have serious health problems and you cannot care for them without help. 

When Ann's father, Alex, developed vascular dementia, she made sure he was lovingly cared for in his home with one-on-one caregivers. She soon realized that her sociable dad would be happier and safer in an environment with more people and continuous skilled nursing care. When she visited the Loomis House Nursing Center Memory Care Neighborhood, she knew that she had discovered the right place for her father. 

The Loomis Communities' Nursing Centers are home to people you know and love - they may be your friends, neighbors, family members or ours.

Many come for short-term stays and rehabilitation following surgery or illness. We provide loving care and physical, speech and occupational therapy programs that help people regain the health and strength needed to return to their homes. Some come to the Nursing Center for memory-care when it is no longer safe for them to stay in their homes.

Regardless of the reason why they come, we offer a home away from home to approximately ninety people from Holyoke and the surrounding communities every day.

The Loomis Communities' Nursing Centers provide loving person-centered care to all residents, regardless of their payer source, insurance, or ability to pay.
