Los Alamos Makers serves as an informal inclusive vocational training center for all ages and all abilities.

We provide STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) educational services and entrepreneurial opportunities. These services include providing access to tools, space, mentoring, classes, talks and workshops.

Our mission is to foster a community of learners and innovators by encouraging professional development and creativity at any age. We encourage collaborations across disciplines and support entrepreneurship.

We provide opportunities to informally learn real-life applications of technology, from woodworking and sewing to computer programming, 3D printing, to CNC machining and Biotechnology.

The purpose of Los Alamos Makers is to make available to the community a work space, specialized equipment and specialized local talent to allow children, adults, and entrepreneurs to explore, learn and perfect new skills.

Our activities are centered around facilitating and promoting hands-on technical skills as well as empowering underserved individuals with vocational skills.
