Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation Inc

The Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization formed in 2006 that helps the local community provide an extraordinary education for Los Alamos students. Through generous community donations, we provide materials and resources for teachers, award grants for innovative ideas in the classroom, fund professional development, award scholarships and student grants, and help improve school facilities through classroom makeovers. We also support the schools through staff appreciation efforts. Our board of around twenty hardworking community volunteers includes two high school students. The board’s mission is to serve as the connection between our community and school district, evaluating needs and investing resources to improve the quality of public education in our community.
