Los Gatos Youth Theatre (LGYT) was founded in 2009. The purpose of the organization is to give children of Los Gatos and the surrounding communities their own theater opportunity. LGYT serves children ages 6-18.
The first production was Willy Wonka, Jr, performed in August 2009. Over the years, LGYT programs have expanded to include Performance Camps, workshop camps, and our full-scale Productions.
Our program offers opportunities for actors from age 6 to 18. Last year we had over 350 youth participating in our theatre programs.
LGYT casts all youth who audition for our shows. We offer scholarships to those who need them.
