The Loudoun Library Foundation, Inc. (LLF) is an independent, all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the public engagement of the libraries in Loudoun county. All libraries open to the public in Loudoun County may apply for a grant to fund special projects. Our annual used-book sale provides an inexpensive source of books for the community and all proceeds go directly to fund grant programs. Since its inception, Foundation has donated over $1,000,000 in support for the Loudoun library system . Including:

  • Summer Reading Program since 1992,  Modern Adult Programs (MAPS), 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, StarWars and Game of Thrones 21+ nights
  • Loudoun Book and Arts Festival, Read Global Eat Local, Bilingual book discussion kits for children, Art installations at multiple branches, Thomas Balch Library, and more
