Louisiana Architectural Foundation

The Louisiana Architectural Foundation works to advance Architecture in Louisiana by serving as a link between the public and the architectural profession. This includes public awareness of architecture, support for architecture, and public participation.

We are right now hard at work to bring the 2nd Annual Architecture & Design Film Festival to New Orleans August 24th through 27th. We will be screening over 20 architecturally focused films from around the world, in addition we will be hosting panel discussions, exhibitions and book talks. For more information: adfilmfest.com/site/no2017 On April 1st we announced our first Call for Short Films competition with the deadline of June 16th, 2017. The winning films will have the opportunity to be shown at the film festival. The competition is open to local high school and college students, as well as professionals. Short films should run between 2 and 5 minutes in length and cover a topic relating to architecture, design, urban planning, historic preservation, coastal issues or a relevant topic.
