Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation

The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame (LSHOF) Foundation is the non-profit 501(c)3 entity which raises funds for the betterment and enhancement of the Sports Hall of Fame and Northwester Louisiana History Museum, located in the Natchitoches Downtown Historic District. The charter for the LSHOF Foundation outlines that it "will provide museum-related activities and support each fiscal year as mutually approved or agreed to by the Museum Director and the Foundation's Board of Directors. 

Louisiana's State Museums department provides the day-to-day operating cost of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame & Northwest Louisiana History Museum. The LSHOF Foundation must provide funds for the purchase of equipment, furnishings or other articles donated to the museum and utilized or installed at the museum for the museum's use. A pressing need for which unrestricted funds can be used would be updating technology at the Museum which was constructed in 2013.

With your support, the accomplishments of Louisiana's extraordinary athletes, coaches and sports administrators will continue to evolve incorporating the most advanced technology. The entertaining stories of the "best of the best" will serve as platforms to inspire today's youth to reach for the stars.  The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Museum is an entertaining, educational, and inspirational experience that is already providing an enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.
