The Louisiana Children's Discovery Center aims to be a unique, interactive resource which offers creative opportunities for families and children to learn, play, discover, and grow together. The Louisiana Children's Discovery Center (LCDC) is a 501 C3 nonprofit children's museum located in the heart of Hammond, Louisiana. It is one of the few children's museums open and operating in the South Louisiana area. Since opening in 2010, the center has welcomed over 250,000 children and families from 40 states and hosted school field trips from 18 parishes in Louisiana and several counties in Mississippi.

The Louisiana Children's Discovery Center is more than just a conventional children's museum. It is a premier center that offers over 30 different engaging and interactive hands-on exhibits and programs, making it an excellent educational resource for the entire community. Moreover, it is a great place for toddlers and children to learn at their own pace while having fun and playing interactively with their peers.
