Why are we raising money for gift cards?

70% of the veterans referred to our organization are for food assistance.  Veteran hunger facts: 1 in 9 working-age veterans are food insecure. 24% of active-duty service members were food insecure in 2020. 1.2 million low-income veterans use SNAP (formerly known as food stamps). This number does not reflect the amount of disabled or retired veterans who deal with food insecurities.

We are trying to do our part to help veterans in our community with the food they desperately need. 

This is where you come in! Do you want to be part of helping provide food assistance to our deserving veterans? Whether you donate $10 or $1000, you are helping a veteran in need. Please join our mission and help us provide gift cards to the veterans who are referred to our organization. We can't do this mission without you!
