Lucas County Pit Crew

Our Mission:

Lucas County Pit Crew supports responsible guardians of Pit Bull terrier like dogs in our community through education, advocacy, training assistance, spay/neuter promotion, and adoption.

We are a 100% volunteer organization. As a non profit 501 (c)3, we rely on your generosity in donations and volunteerism, to continue that mission.

We do this in many ways; 

• Lucas County Pit Crew offers training,  education, and social activities for responsible dog owners in our community. 
• We also work closely with our local dog warden to transfer dogs into foster homes and adopt them into loving families.
•  All of our adoptable dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped.  
• To help reduce the overpopulation of homeless dogs, we encourage everyone to spay and neuter their pets. 
• Many  events supporting our community  and dogs.
