Every 30 minutes someone is diagnosed with Lupus.

There is currently no known cause or cure and no part of the body that is free from the attack of lupus. Ninety per cent of lupus patients are women and minorities are disproportionately hit by this disease

Every day, lupus patients confront challenges from chronic pain to kidney disease and chemotherapy. What gives these survivors the strength is the message that they are not alone in the fight. The Lupus Foundation of Northern California helps our patients to understand that they have Lupus; Lupus doesn't have them.
