Since 1917 the Boy Scouts of America has served young people in Las Vegas and surrounding communities through the greatest mentors in the world; trained Scout Leaders.

Scouting is Outing!
The Las Vegas Area Council provides three camping facilities to give young people the opportunity to learn in the great outdoors:
Kimball Scout Reservation - high in the Spring Mountains in the shadow of Mount Potosi, Kimball boasts the largest swimmingpool in a youth camp in Southern Nevada.
Del Webb Scout Reservation - near Zion National Park, Del Webb offers high mountain camping and a gateway to one of our great natural wonders; Zion.
Levi Levi - nestled in the Hualapai Mountains, Camp Levi Levi offers a unique camp experience.

Scouting is not just Camping!
November is Scouting for Food month.  Thousands of Scouts will distribute food bags and gather over 130 tons of food to feed those in need.  Scouts will provide a great service while learning charity.

A Scout is Prepared!
Scouts learn first aid and life saving.  A scout can dress a wound, treat shock and sometimes save a life.  Each year a handful of our Scouts receive the prestigious BSA Heroism Award for saving a life.  When Cub Scout Vincent Ferrara saved his cousin from drowning he was asked what made him do such a brave thing; he said "that's just what Scouts do!".

The Most Important Thing!
After all of the badges are sewn on and the campouts are a memory, Boy Scouts will be left with a set of values that will last a lifetime.  These values can be found in the Scout Law:  Trustworthy
Loyal
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
Obedient
Cheerful
Thrifty
Brave
Clean
Reverent
