Lyric Theatre

For nearly 50 years, Lyric Theatre has been presenting fully staged and orchestrated live theatrical productions of quality shows from Offenbach in the 1800's to Sondheim in the 1970's.  We have presented the entire canon of Gilbert and Sullivan, and multiple shows of Offenbach, Victor Herbert and Richard Rodgers as well as shows by such diverse composers as Donizetti, Kalman and Loesser. Our summer Discovery program features "lost" gems that are partially staged. You will find no other company with such a range of offerings.

Our aim is to entertain as well as educate! We are invested in having the next generation enjoy their cultural history: we provide a free performance for school children every year as well as our ArtStart program to engage children attending the show. We are planning a set of workshops for multiple ages.

We are largely a volunteer organization, giving an outlet for artistic expression by singers, instrumentalists, artisans, technicians and administrators, while maintaining reasonable ticket prices. Help us continue to bring to life the gems of our past. We offer an experience, not just canned entertainment!
