MACAC is dedicated to increasing the quality of life of families throughout the Pittsburgh area. The MACAC is dedicated to the following: empowering individuals and families to become productively independent, fostering conditions under which economic stability of families can be secured and providing programs which will support and encourage functional family values

Since 1990, the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) has offered a safe, nurturing and stimulating day care environment for children from infancy to five years of age. The ECDC is licensed by the Department of Human Services and has achieved STAR 4 status with the Keystone STARS Program. In partnership with the Pittsburgh Board of Public Education, the ECDC has also become a licensed Early Head Start and Head Start facility for Infant, Toddler & Preschool students and has an After School Child Care Program which provides constructive care to school-aged children of working parents. The Center also offers Middle and High School Mentoring, Food & Clothing Banks, Health & Wellness and Seniors Programs.
