Create resources and provide education that will improve the overall well-being in our communities.

The Morris County Collaborative was established with the aim of enhancing the well-being of Morris County residents. Our collaborative focuses on various aspects, including health and wellness, mental health, health equity, economic development, personal empowerment, and training. We achieve our objectives primarily through education, with a special emphasis on historically marginalized and excluded individuals. To sustain our mission, we have forged partnerships across different industries, all working towards promoting resilience within our community.

In 2023, one of our major milestones was the acquisition of a building that we now use for classes and training. To forge our partnerships, we have entered into Memorandums of Understanding with various agencies, allowing them to utilize our facility for education, training, and support of the community. These services include job training, Medicaid and Medicare applications, budgeting assistance, housing support, residential repairs for disabled individuals, domestic violence counseling, emergency funds for utilities and homelessness, tobacco screening, intervention, and cessation, substance use disorder, immunizations, CPR training, Naloxone certifications for First Responders and other healthcare personnel, and senior citizen classes and activities.

Morris County residents face struggles with healthcare access, limited transportation options, stagnant economic growth, and substance disorders. By utilizing partnerships, we can provide our community with more access to overcome these barriers and improve the overall well-being of our community. These funds will have a great impact on our community and will be used to provide resources to Morris County citizens.
