Mark Massey Legacy Foundation works to raise awareness, help fund ground breaking research, and support families affected by Diffuse Midline Glioma, one of the most devastating pediatric brain cancers.

To know Mark was to love him. He was the kindest, most gentle soul and a friend to all that he met. He was a blend of seemingly opposite traits. He was quiet but silly, serious but hilarious, shy but friendly, adventurous but a homebody, caring but blunt, sweet but tough. He put the needs of others ahead of his own. We called him our angel baby since the day he was born. In January 2024 at age 10, Mark was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer called Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG). After 10 months courageously battling this rare cancer, he gained his angel wings in November 2024. After learning of Mark's diagnosis we prayed and begged that Mark's life would not be taken in vain. In Mark's final hours, we vowed to him that we would carry on his legacy. It is the mission of the Mark Massey Legacy Foundation to turn this disease from a terminal one into a chronic one.
