With reduced funding and a loss of volunteers because of COVID-19, the Macaw Recovery Network is facing the most challenging season in its history. Now more than ever do we need your help to save at-risk macaws in Costa Rica.

These remarkable birds are threatened by the loss of their vital nest and food trees and capture for the wildlife trade. Their long-term survival is in jeopardy. 

But there is hope, and it begins with you. With your support we can continue to:

• Provide protection on the frontlines of Macaw Conservation;
• Help prepare and release Macaw chicks; rewilding forests where they went extinct;
• Encourage landowners to plant native trees and adopt sustainable land use practices;
• Support the hiring and training of female Rangers to help protect chicks from poaching.
