Macomb Foster Closet

Over 400,000 children in the United States end up in foster care due to abuse, neglect, and abandonment. In Michigan, there are over 13,000 kids that need our help. Entering foster care can be scary and children often come with just the clothes on their backs.

But thanks to you, we make sure they have what they need to thrive. You are part of a generous community of donors who help these kids with everything they need to be successful. We provide clothing, shoes, coats, bedding, school supplies, big and small baby items, Christmas stockings and toys, Easter baskets, and lots more. We celebrate their birthdays, provide fun activities, and help them just be kids.

In fact, some children say that coming to the Macomb Foster Closet is the first time that they have been able to pick out their own clothes. We get them everything that they need to be successful in life, to go to school the very next day, and to help restore their dignity by giving them hope for a better future.
