Goals
1. To provide recovery support services within a safe and nurturing environment.
2. To provide a structure around which the recovery community gathers, organizes, develops and serves.
3. To collaborate with community entities to facilitate access to resources and to help individuals establish a strong support system to reduce the risk of relapse.
4. To educate the community about addiction, long-term recovery and to increase awareness of the MVFH in efforts to minimize the stigma and discrimination associated with addiction recovery.
5. To secure adequate funding to support MVFH programs and services.
6. To develop and maintain relationships that support the mission of the MVFH.
7. To maintain adequate staff and facilities for the MVFH to be viable.
8. To develop a public relations strategy.
9. To eliminate barriers to recovery from addiction.
10. To provide a voice and body for the anonymous recovering population.
