Magic Valley Festival of Giving Inc

The Festival of Giving was formed due to the overwhelming need to assist local nonprofits in the Magic Valley. With the combined participation of the public and many charities, not one but many benefit from the Festival making it a win-win for everyone. The Festival assists neglected children, abused animals, veterans, those in crisis and many more.

Southern Idaho Landscape Center hosts the four day event. In the tradition of giving, the Festival of Giving kicks off the week before Thanksgiving with the Gala of Giving, Friday, November 20. The general exhibition will run Saturday, November 21, through Monday, November 23. The beautifully decorated trees and holiday decorations will be on display from Saturday through Monday. All proceeds from the Festival will directly benefit local Magic Valley charities and nonprofits.

We are proud of the local recognition our festival has gained within the business community. The Festival of Giving was honored when Ken Ashley of Southern Idaho Landscape Center was recognized as the Person of the Year by the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce for his efforts in organizing the Festival of Giving which raised funds for multiple nonprofit groups in the Magic Valley.

In 2014 the festival raised over $100,000 which went right back to our local charities and nonprofits which included but nis not limited to:  CASA, The Crisis Center of the Magic Valley, Filer Quick Response Unit, Hospice Visions, ID Educational Services for the Deaf and Blind Foundation, Jubilee House, Mini-Cassia Chapter 10 DAV for Project Hope, Mustard Seed Ministries, People For Pets-Magic Valley Humane Society, Salvation Army, Santa’s Cause, Shaken Baby Prevention of Idaho, SPAN-Suicide Prevention Action Network, St. Edwards Soup Kitchen, United Way, Valley House, West End Senior Center, Magic Valley Center for the Arts and Volunteers Against Violence.
