Makawao  School PTA

It's springtime upcountry, and that means it's time for our annual Makawao Elementary School Fun Run! The Fun Run is a fundraising project sponsored by the PTA that will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020. It is an all-school event aimed at getting staff, faculty and students outside with a focus on fitness and fun! 

All proceeds from the Fun Run will directly impact the 500+ students attending Makawao Elementary! The money raised by the students for this
event will help support an entire school year's worth of art classes; music programs; growing our school garden classroom; bus transportation for class field trips; and PTA-sponsored 'ohana nights (including our annual Santa's Workshop).

This year's fundraiser will run February 20th -March 5th (at close of school). Donations received by closing will be eligible to be credited towards a Makawao student of choice.  For every $50 collected, the student will earn an entry into a raffle for awesome prizes. Raffle prizes will be awarded the week of March 9-12th. There will also be prizes for top fundraisers in each grade and overall school. Please be sure to attribute your donation to your student of choice in the dedication section by checking the "add dedication box", otherwise we will not be able to attribute your donation to anyone!
