MakeShift has grown under the support of Turbine Flats and Matthew Wegener, whose vision for a space where people can come together, make things, and share what they make, innovate, and ultimately transfrom our community has kept the organization alive and growing. 

For the past three years, MakeShift and Turbine Flats have put on the annual Make Lincoln event, a fair-like afternoon where makers of all types, from artists to engineers to innovators and explorers, come together to share what they make with community members and celebrate all the making and innovation that our community has to offer.
