Making a Miracle

Making a Miracle may just be starting as an organization but we have been making a difference for a few years now. We started by dropping off gifts of encouragement and support other warriors during the hardest times of the year. Holidays can be hard because they are an opportunity to get together as a family; but as we do, pregnancy is often a topic of conversation that can make those struggling uncomfortable.

We have been working hard to raise awareness in our city. Infertility is a disease that can cause social isolation during some of the most loved holidays and can lead to shame, guilt, and reluctance to seek help or speak out about their experience.

We are having our first National Infertility Awareness Week Event this month to give resources, from our city to the infertility community, that they may not know exist. This is also a way to give them a sense of community so they do not feel so alone in their journey.

We will be partnering with fertility clinics and other businesses going forward to continue to spread awareness about the stigma and misconceptions of infertility that some may face, as well as the financial strain of not having infertility insurance.
