Marcella Welch Memorial Art Foundation

The Marcella Welch Memorial Art Foundation was founded in 2014, to continue the art legacy of Marcella Welch, a world renowned mixed-media artist, who passed away in 2012 from a long battle with brain cancer.  Marcella spent  most of her adult life working to evolve her artistic talent and assisting others to unlock their own artistic potential.  She travelled the world presenting her art, teaching and learning from others, and finding inspiration and beauty in the places she visited and the people she met.  Through the Marcella Welch Memorial Art Foundation her love of the Arts will continue to be shared with others.

The mission of the Marcella Welch Memorial Art Foundation is threefold:  (1) to provide scholarship money to young, aspiring artists enrolling in visual or performance art programs at an accredited four-year university or college; (2) to provide classes and workshops for young people to help develop their artistic talents and abilities; and (3) to assist in finding a permanent gallery home for the artwork of Marcella Welch.
