Mary Peterson Child Care Center

Mary Peterson Child Care Center has been in existence and serving the Navarro County Community for more than 75 years. We are committed to providing quality resources and services to the children of our community. Some of the children who come to us often have special educational and developmental needs that we must meet.

Mary Peterson Child Care Center is a non-profit organization classified as a public charity under 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi)

under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code, which means that no one owns Mary Peterson. If it ceases to exist, its assets will go to another non-profit organization.

The original focus of Mrs. Mary Peterson, this dedicated and noble lady, was to provide daycare services for low and moderate-income working families. Over the years the image and focus of this noble lady, have not deviated from providing a safe and educational environment. This center currently offers more than just a daycare service.

The Director, Ms. Erica Fields, and Executive Board has instigated an institution of social guidance, a positive academic program, weekly lesson plans and access to tablets. Also, the Center will continue to provide two well-balanced home cooked meals and a nutritional snack each day.
