Mary Nell's Close to Home is an adult care center that offers innovative, year round, full day education and activities. It is at the heart of our vision to offer a program that addresses each persons learning style. The mission of our adult care center is to provide a safe, loving, and encouraging environment that meets their social, emotional, and academic needs. As a provider of a creative learning environment, it is our mission to instill confidence, self worth and morals in each person. The center will provide a curriculum taught by certified trainers with an emphasis on creative learning and development through various activities such as games for problem solving and other skills.

Mary Nell's Close to Home positively impacts our community by promoting inclusivity, providing specialized care and support ultimately enriching the lives of IDD individuals and their families. We offer inventions to address each client needs promoting their development and progress. MNC2H provides opportunities for IDD clients to interact with peers and learn social skills in a structural environment. Our trainers strive and creates a learning environment that caters to their goals physical and sensory needs. We are providing early inventions and support for our clients. We also strive to assist with teaching them Activities of Daily Living skills. The benefits of our program is that we integrate special needs individuals into the community which helps us to be more inclusive and to understand more about the special needs population. This one of the ways we impact our community by bringing everyone together. We provide a community Crystal Ball annually which is geared toward a Prom like setting for special need individuals. Families travel near and far to attend this event. We also host a dress drive for the Ball for the ones that cant afford a dress or suit. We strive to be one
