$100,000 Goal

Mask America’s Kids [MAK] was founded on May 5th, 2020. We are a non-profit social enterprise [501c3] based in Denver, Colorado. Our founder, David Downey, is the founder and CEO of a large technology company known as Invidi Technologies. Dave was able to see the pandemic coming in advance because of his work overseas. Due to this, he was able to engage quickly in developing a program aimed at assisting children across the U.S. We have noticed as an organization that in light of this pandemic, some of this countries priorities have been skewed. We believe that children are the core to any countries future and as a race. They not only are the ones who bare the chance to take a breath in the future, they are also the ones who will build that same future. We must protect that. MAK has now raised over $100,000 in donations and counting. We are working with schools around the U.S. to provide free masks to them. When the pandemic is defeated, we will aim to assist in preventing or being more prepared for the next virus.

You can sponsor a school, school district, or event by contacting us. We can also connect you to one of the schools in our database that we have identified to be an area of greater need than others. All of our masks come with our logo on them and are a 3 layer mask made with a variety of different material options. We have the ability to produce one logo and or form of text on the masks for no additional cost. We have also identified a large demand for language development programs so we quickly developed a clear mask to combat struggles in that area.

Our masks cost us .90 cents per mask. We charge $1.00 to sponsors in order to keep our doors open and reach more funders. This includes the logo and or text as well as a variety of different materials. Our clear masks cost us $1.10 a mask, our rate for these masks is $1.20 a mask. For every $1 put into our program 1 student receives a mask. We are also a believer in co-partnering with brands from around the world. We love to see other brands on our mask as they represent not only giving back but a reminder that our institutions are made of people.

As a social enterprise, we believe in connection and partnering to strengthen the solution to any problem. We gladly open our arms to any individual or group who would like to partner with us and help spread the word. We are also big on masks, if you can believe it, and would accept any donations of masks that were bought in excess or specifically for a cause like ours. Come join our cause and spread the word!
