Educational equity, student resiliency, and academic achievement don’t happen in a vacuum – they are cultivated and curated by the remarkable work of great teachers. Every lesson, every long day spent taking the time to ensure that students are prepared for what lies ahead, our Commonwealth’s teachers are modeling our society’s aspirations for a change toward the better. This unyielding effort and immeasurable impact warrant a level of recognition that is too often unmet – which is why Mi’s Partners in Excellence Awards Ceremony (PIE) is so special.

Bringing together a community of over 200 educators, legislators, and business leaders, PIE is an evening of inspiration and celebration. The event honors some of Massachusetts’ most outstanding teachers – those who have made a deep and measurable impact in the educational outcomes of marginalized students – to give them the recognition that they so richly deserve. We hope that you will consider joining us in this community. Through your support, we will:

• Create Community: Isolation leads to burnout, and AP teachers as especially vulnerable to this. Your donation helps us build communities by giving teachers an opportunity to build their professional networks and a sense of camaraderie so that they never feel "alone on an island."
• Improve Teacher Practice: By supporting our programs, you are helping teachers grow as leaders and educators - honing their craft and amplifying the impact that they have on their students.
• Build Equity: Your contribution directly directly promotes a more equitable education system - fostering an environment where every teacher has the skills and resources to inspire and every student has the chance to succeed.
