Growing your own fresh food is fun, can improve your health, and is a great family activity!

NEW this year you can select what your donation will support from four options via the "Designation" line during the Donation process:

General Fund: to help provide seeds, soil, garden bed maintenance items for our demonstration gardens; and prepare for summer children’s education programs;

Anna Smith Deer Fencing:  this is a significant improvement project that has been in planning for several years.  Your donation will go directly towards having a professionally installed deer fence, improving our ability to grow healthy produce for our local food bank.

Future Capital Projects:  Our four demonstration gardens are in need of several different capital projects such as electricity, new sheds, hoop houses, and a refresh of raised beds, .  Your donation will be set aside to allow the Foundation to fund these projects in future years (1-5 years) when the gardens' leadership is ready!

New South Sound garden:  your donation will be set aside so that once planning is complete for a new Master Gardener demonstration garden in the south end of Kitsap County, the Foundation will have the funds available to support the project!

In case you missed it, throughout 2022, Kitsap County Master Gardeners were able to:

PROVIDE over 12,450 total volunteer hours as they educated 75,000 Kitsap residents on gardening topics through online garden clinics and at our four demonstration gardens;

DONATE nearly 3000 lbs of fresh, organic produce to local food banks;

INTRODUCE hundreds of kids and their parents to the joy of gardening!

We hope that you will be a partner in our important work!
