Matheson History Museum Inc

Sarah Matheson was a visionary. Her foresight and love of community led to the creation of the Matheson History Museum.  In 1989 she deeded her home to the then named Matheson Historical Center, Inc., to serve as the center for a downtown museum complex. She cut the ribbon at the dedication of the Matheson History Museum in 1994 saying that she was “opening the door, I welcomed both young and old to enter and begin its use for all to enjoy.”

The Staff and Board of Directors at the Matheson are working to carry forward Sarah’s vision and we hope that you will join with us.
