Restoration Jail Ministry

At Registration Jail Ministry our "Mission Statement" is to effect ongoing restoration through the "Power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."   

Our non-profit was created in 2007 to provide chaplain services to the incarcerated and staff at our local County Jail with the much-needed love, understanding and direction with the help of volunteers and mentors that can walk alongside those who sincerely want to make a change in their lives.  

Our three main goals are first to restore them back to God, their Creator, who loves them and desires to have a relationship with them by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal salvation which is the most vital goal.  Second, restore them back to their families, to their moms and their dads, their spouses, their children.  And third, restore them back to their community to be a good and productive member of society and not to be someone who would be destructive or harmful to their community.

Over the years, the chaplains have expanded its role by providing needed Biblical education, practical life skills, and classes to help identify and address the issues that the individuals struggle with that bring them back to jail.  

Transitional support is also available upon release which greatly reduces recidivism for the inmates that participate. The chaplains and mentors are also available to help keep them on the straight and narrow.  We also work with their families and their relationships, marriages and child rearing.
