Mayan Families

Based in Panajachel, we operate a variety of programs to support and empower the Maya people of Lake Atitlan and the surrounding areas. The work of Mayan Families is supported completely through donations, which are tax deductible in the U.S. 

Mayan Families Mission: To provide opportunities and improved health and basic living conditions to the rural poor of Guatemala through sustainable programs and community development such as school sponsorships, nutritional support, housing, and medical assistance.
