Maytown Historical Society

The Maytown Historical Society was formed in 1985 by a small group of citizens who were concerned about preserving Maytown's history.  Since then the society has grown to 185 members and has purchased and restored a museum at 4 West High Street.   Artifacts and documents are archived weekly by a committee.  We have outgrown our Museum building and garage and are currently paying for storage which is not climate controlled.  Our goal is to raise money (approximately $50,000) to turn our current garage into a climate controlled building to preserve our artifacts.  

Next year Maytown will be 265 years old!  Please help us to keep Maytown's history alive!
