Mcahic Inc

The Montgomery County Association for Hearing Impaired Children was established in 1959 by a small group of concerned parents in Montgomery County, Maryland. Today, in partnership with professionals and families, we are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to encouraging the educational development and achievement of our deaf and hard-of-hearing children. MCAHIC, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization composed of parents, students, relatives, friends and educators who want to work together to make a difference. 

MCAHIC's mission is to provide a forum for disseminating and exchanging information on educational, developmental, and social issues affecting deaf and hard-of-hearing children. We embrace any communication approach that will help our children succeed in the classroom and in the world at large.
